DescriptionThe Bundamba factory manufactured hardboard panels and structural I-Beams. Located at Ashburn Road Bundamba, the site commenced business as Hudson Timber Products Limited in 1846. In 1958 the mill commenced operations as Burnie Board Pty Ltd, changing its name to CSR Wood Panels in 1967. In June 1999 the company changed its name to Australian Hardboards Limited and remained as AHL until its closure in December 2010.
