Description

DescriptionOriginally School of Arts building. This clock was erected by January 8 1879. For some years, there were two tower clocks side by side (the Post Office clock was built in 1901), until the tower from the School of Arts was removed in 1912 and became the town clock in the former Council Chambers at Sandgate, Brisbane.
