DescriptionJoyce Street, East Ipswich Woollen Mills were owned by Cribb, Walker and Brown and was originally the Cotton Mills. In about 1920, Leonard Grant Lawrence was brought from Scotts Foundry to convert the mill from cotton to woollen mill. He became the Chief Mechanical Engineer.
