Description

DescriptionFounded in 1911 by Carl August Kruger. The firm made 'Slash' brand axe handles and in the late 1930s was employing 85 people. It opened its own sawmill in 1927 and relocated to Dinmore in 1978. The company was bought out by Besser-Pioneer, and was then purchased by two local business people.
