In 1930, with the death of Anne Thomas ,Brynhyfryd, was put up for action. However house remained unsold due to public thinking that building was seriously undermined. Many of the internal fixtures being removed Eg:the lift well was made into a pulpit as St.Joseph’s catholic Church & the Front doors of mansion were removed to the Welsh church at Blackstone.
