2007 Design, Heritage, Environment and Student Awards

The sixteenth annual Design, Heritage, Environment and Student Awards was held at The University of Southern Queensland, Springfield Campus. The Master of Ceremonies was Ashleigh Mac and the Guest Presenter was Andrew Fraser, Minister for Local Government, Planning, Sport and Recreation.

The Overall Award winners were:

• Overall Design Award for Excellence: Orion Springfield - Mirvac
• Overall Heritage Award for Excellence: 16 Rowland Terrace, Sadliers Crossing
• Overall Environment Award for Excellence:  Gumtips Nature Refuge - Moggill Koala Hospital Association Incorporated
• Overall Student Award for Excellence: ‘Multifunction Restaurant – Architectural Design' - Year 12 Graphics Class of 2005 from Ipswich Girls Grammar School

• A Silver Award was presented to Delfin Springfield Pty Ltd for 'Springfield Lakes Design Manual'
