The seventeenth annual awards in Design, Heritage, Environment and Student categories was held at the Ipswich Civic Centre. The Master of Ceremonies was Ashleigh Mac and the guest speaker was Rachel Nolan MP, who also presented the awards.

- Overall Heritage Award for Excellence: 'Hinemoa', 2 Ferrett Street, Sadliers Crossing
- Overall Environment Award for Excellence: '185 Schubels Road, Marburg'
- Overall Student Award for Excellence: 'Mosaic Learnscape' - Karalee State School
Amex Design Awards
- A Gold Award was presented to Celia and Les Thornton and Pearce Architects for 'Professionals Thornton Real Estate Office'
- A Silver Award was presented to Dore Property Corporation, MPS Architects, Pearce Architects and Hutchinson Builders for 'Aspire Apartments'
- A Silver Award was presented to Springfield Land Corporation, Haysom Architects, Hutchinson Builders and Coffey Projects for 'Springfield Tower'

- A Gold Award was presented for 'Hinemoa', 2 Ferrett Street, Sadliers Crossing
- A Gold Award was presented to Pearce Architects for 'Rhossilli', 4 Glebe Road, Newtown
- A Gold Award was presented to Ipswich Library and Information Service for 'Remember When, Ipswich Library'

- A Silver Award was presented to Naomi George and Michael Melling for 'Province Modern Country', 197 Brisbane Street, Ipswich
- A Silver Award was presented to Ipswich Library and Information Service for 'Local History Information Literacy Program'
- A Silver Award was presented to Ipswich Little Theatre for the 2007-2008 'Historic Tours of the Incinerator Theatre'
