The twentieth Annual Awards for Excellence in Design, Heritage, Environment and Student categories was held on Wednesday, 19 October 2011 at the Ipswich Civic Hall. The guest speaker was Gary White who also presented the awards. The Master of Ceremonies was Ashleigh Mac.

A Gold Award was presented to Jack Sim, Ghost Tours Pty Ltd and Batestones Stone Masonry for 'Restoration of the Piper Memorial'
