2016 Design, Heritage, Environment and Student Awards
The twenty-fifth Annual Awards for Excellence in Design, Heritage, Environment and Student categories was held at the Ipswich Corporate Centre on Tuesday, 6 September 2016. The guest presenter was Ms Jennifer Howard MP, Member for Ipswich and Assistant Minister for Local Government. The Master of Ceremonies was Ashleigh Mac.

Ipswich Heritage Hall of Fame
Viva Cribb was posthumously inducted into the hall of fame. Viva who was a long-time member of the Ipswich Heritage Consultative Committee, passed away in June 2006, aged eighty-six.
