Description
DescriptionBorn in 1852 in London England, Charles arrived in Moreton Bay on the "Persia" in 1856 with his parents Thomas and Sarah Wyman, his 4 siblings at the time, including Henry Wyman and George Wyman, and 2 of Thomas' nephews. His immediate family settled in Ipswich and his cousins in Tenterfield. One further sibling, Eliza Elizabeth was born in Ipswich. At age 20 Charles was working in Cribb & Foote’s cotton ginning shed when he sustained severe lacerations to his forearm, which he managed to survive. However, sadly he died at 38 years of age at his mother Sarah Wyman’s Syntax St home, after a brief unspecified illness.References (offline)https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/36708346References (online)'Mr. T.
