Acknowledgement of Country

Ipswich City Council respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners, the Jagera, Yuggera, and Ugarapul People of the Yugara/Yagara Language Group, as custodians of the land and waters we share. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present, as the keepers of the traditions, customs, cultures and stories of proud peoples.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should be aware that Picture Ipswich contains images, voices or names of deceased persons in various formats of material including print, audiovisual and electronic.

Bob Gamble Park was rededicated on 14 October 2012. New features in the park included a 'Discovery Forest' incorporating features including carved wooden totems, balance beams, forts and a bridge across a dry creek bed.
