DescriptionMessages that appeared on the back of postcards that were sent to Mrs Olive Kippen of Ipswich, from Tom Cross, whilst serving in Europe during World War 1. Tom trained at, it is believed, H O Williams photographic studio in Ipswich. Olive Kippen, is also believed to have worked as a tinter at the studio. During WW1 he drew many postcards that he sold to the troops.
