DescriptionBig Whites, at 160 Brisbane Street, was established by John Charles White in 1919. (Originally on the opposite side of Brisbane Street, it was moved in 1922. Four generations of the family had owned the business. It closed in 2012. In 2014 it was redeveloped and now (2017) forms part of the Sammut Building, on Brisbane Street. Includes view from footpath up Limestone Street to Macdonalds Take Away.
