DescriptionDesigned by Walter Burley Griffin the architect and planner of Canberra, along with George Brockwell Gill. Opened on 5 November, 1936. Griffin had formed the Reverberatory Incinerator Company to design incinerators. Four years later Griffin added another tower. The theatre was originally the Walter Burley Griffin Incinerator.
