Description
DescriptionWilliam Johnson with an unidentified group of men. He served in Gallipoli, Egypt and France. He was seriously wounded at the third battle at Ypres, in September 1917, and carried two pieces of shell from that encounter until his death in 1966. His family owned the F. A. Johnson Coach Works in Ipswich. He took over the business, with his brother, in 1920 and commenced dealing in motor vehicles.
