Could also be the kilns I remember at the New Chum pottery. My Uncle Viv Thomson worked there when I was a kid (late 50's early 60's) I also recall; something like this near the Ebbwvale station in the 60's.

I think it is a photo of ebbw. vale pottery, which was situated near ebby vale railway station and was removed for roadwork.Examples of pottery can be seen at ipswich gallery
