DescriptionPrivate Harold Ernest Hack enlisted on the 10 June 1915 in the 9th Infantry Battalion, 9th Reinforcements.

Harold embarked for overseas service on His Majesty’s Australian Troopship ‘Ayrshire A33’ on the 3 September 1915 from Sydney.

He served in France and returned to Australia for discharge on the ship ‘Kildonian Castle’ in May 1919.

Card reads: “From Harry. To Dorothy. Wishing you all a merry Xmas and a happy New Year. 2/12/17”.
