DescriptionBank Fruit shop was between the Commonwealth Bank on the corner of Brisbane and Nicholas Streets and Berry’s Small Goods. In August 1931 the contents of the business went to Auction. On 20 August 1931 the shop reopened as Levette’s Fruit Supplies. On left, Ruby Hoare, born 1914 who worked at the shop. Ruby’s brother Frank, had a furniture store in East Street, next to the then Wintergarden Theatre. The other three women are unidentified.
