Description

DescriptionAlbert De Berg and mates in front of the Great Sphinx near Cairo. Albert travelled to the Middle East via Sydney on the "Barunga" and disembarked in Suez on 3 December 1916. At different times he was based at Moascar, El Ksara and Ayun Kara. He served with the 1st and 2nd Light Horse Divisions. At the time of his death, he served with the Anzac Mounted Division. His name is listed on the Rosewood Honour Board.
