DescriptionHorace William Hall, 22 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force was born in Ipswich in 1922 and attended Blair State School and Ipswich Grammar School. He resided at 42 Woodend Road, Woodend, with his parents William and Florence Ruth (nee Gee) Hall. He applied for RAAF training in 1941. On 9 February 1943, Sergeant Hall was a crew member of a Boston Aircraft A28-14 that went missing near Lae, New Guinea. His name appears on the Ipswich Grammar School Honour Board.
