Description

DescriptionThe fire is believed to have started in the welding section under the paint shop. The building and the bootmaker premises of Claude Schilling next door were destroyed. The panel beaters had been on the site for around fifty years, with Jack Thomas' father staring the business as a coachbuilder and wheelwright in 1921.
