DescriptionDave Boughen had his All Parts business for motorcycles at the corner of Brisbane and Waghorn Streets. He bought out Alf Loetzch’s bike shop at 223 Brisbane Street around 1948 (currently Thornton Real Estate). Dave Boughen had a team of motor bike riders that raced in the area between 1945 and 1953. He also owned the Service Station at the corner of Brisbane Road and Gibbon Street East Ipswich in the early 1950s. He was President of the Ipswich Bowl’s Club, 1967 – 1968.
