DescriptionThe Church opened in 1909 and this maybe a photograph from the opening. Father Horan is on left of (thought to be Archbishop Duhig). Father Horn was priest of the Ipswich area from 1873-1917 and Duhig had previously been Horan’s curate at Ipswich. Harrisville is part of the Scenic Rim region and is 30 km from Ipswich.
