Description

DescriptionCharles Scott was born in Ipswich in 1890 and worked for the Ipswich Council in 1906. He later worked for the Queensland Times newspaper before enlisting in 1914. He served in the 2nd Light Horse Regiment ‘A’ Squadron and received the M C Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal. He was killed in action at Messines, Belgium, on 7 June 1917.
