DescriptionPrescott Mill at the Workshops, was used for making the wooden carriages. Additional Information “The first train to run in Queensland steamed from here to Bigge's Camp, now Grandchester,[in 1865.] For decades the site was the centre of rail construction, maintenance and technology in the State for the burgeoning rail industry. In its time over 200 steam locomotives were constructed here.
