Description

DescriptionPhotograph taken before 1908 as the two buildings were joined together in a "T" shape, and served as Church, Sunday School and hall. Present site of Rosewood Uniting Church in John Street. The first church was built in 1875 on land donated by a Mr Matthews. In 1876 the Church was extended 15 feet (457.2 cm) to accommodate increased attendance. In 1878 the manse was built. Several years later the manse was moved closer to the Church building. In 1900 Old Farmers' Hall was purchased for £5 and moved to a site beside the Church.
