DescriptionTaken from the mine looking directly down Matthew Street (far left). The three gables of St Brigid's Church can be seen just to the right of Matthew Street. The cluster of buildings centre background are at the lower end of John Street. State School can be seen at the rear of the cluster. The double-storeyed building to the front of the cluster is Dow's Bakery. (No longer double storey).
