DescriptionThis is an image of a man (maybe a Mr Laughton or a Mr Reid). Reverse of the photograph is stamped with the photographer Biggingee Sorabjee Pochee (Poochee) trademark, and is believed to have been taken between 1874-1878. The publication 'The Mechanical Eye in Australia: Photography 1841-1900' (OUP Press, Melbourne, 1985) has Poochee in Bell Street, Ipswich, in 1863, Ipswich Queensland in 1867, and Brisbane Street Ipswich 1874-1878.
