DescriptionBell Street in flood, Ipswich, 1893. The worst flooding experienced in Ipswich on record occurred in February 1893 as three cyclones crossed the coast of South East Queensland and moved inland. The Bremer River flooded three times on the 3rd, 13th and 17th of February. Seven men drowned through the flooding of the Eclipse Colliery at North Ipswich. Cribb & Foote building on left and Bank of New South Wales building on right. One of a series of images taken by F. A.
