Description

DescriptionThis was the main store in old Marburg when the town was thriving as a road junction, rail terminus, half-way stop between Toowoomba and Brisbane. Built in 1925 it survived the fire that destroyed the Dance’s building in 1927. In 1931 Bielefeld decided to move the store across from the north west corner to the south east corner of [Edmond and Queen Streets]. The building advertises as ‘Bielefeld Bros.
