DescriptionCutting on the eastern approach to Marburg. Shows 'relief workers' of the early thirties. During the great depression the Government introduced 'relief work'. Here the rock is being broken by a man using a crow-bar. The truck has solid rubber tyres. Some workers are dressed in grey flannel singlets, other have the 'Jackie Horse' sleveless singlets.
