Galvanized is the City's new festival of heritage, showcasing the best heritage experiences and events Ipswich has to offer across 10 days. The inaugural Festival was launched on Thursday, 26 August 2021 at the Commonwealth Hotel and ran from 27 August to 5 September. Iconic venues and historic sites held open days, tours, demonstrations and workshops. Walking tours through Ipswich Central, the Top of Town and through the Ipswich Cemetery revealed the history of the City, its businesses and people.
