DescriptionHistory of Joseph Fleming (1811-1891) and the Bremer Mills in 1850, an industrial complex on 640 acres of land, alongside the Bremer River at what is now Bundamba. The site included a wharf, steam flour mill, steam sawmill, boiling down works, brickworks, a home for Fleming and his family and cottages for 300 workers.
