DescriptionText of 16 minute interview where Neville explains hastily packing up what they could at his work place in Fernvale (Zanows) on the Tuesday morning and leaving early so he could get home, to his wife, Kerry. Then calling family and friends to help pack up as much of his own house as they could into a small caravan and horse trailers. He talks about living in a shed at a friend's house and later a caravan at their house for eight months while they did what they could to make their house livable. He speaks of the long hours at work and then late into the night working on his house, with help from his work, family and friends. He couldn't wait for Christmas when he could have a couple of weeks off. The floods occurred in January and peaked on Wednesday 12 January.
