DescriptionIn the 1920s, this garage was known as Collett’s Garage and was owned by H.E. Collett. The foreman mechanic was Peter Whitehead. By 1949, Peter Whitehead had taken over and eventually renamed the business Peter Whitehead Garage. The business was next door to R. W. Lees Furniture Showrooms.
