Description

DescriptionRuhno’s store was opposite Rosewood Railway Station in Railway Street. It was originally Johannes Ludwig Frederich's store, opening in the 1870s. It became Ruhno's store sometime prior to 1908 and was destroyed by fire in the mid 1970s. The store was a 'General Supply Company', trading in machinery, furniture, mercery, drapery, millinery, fancy and other goods. On the left was the food store (Foodland) and on the right was the general store.
